The Ames Chamber of Commerce and Ames Economic Development Commission are pleased to recognize Allee Wengert as she begins a new position and welcome KK O’Neill to the Ames Chamber team.
“I am thrilled to see Allee transition into the new Marketing Coordinator position, and to welcome KK as Director of Membership Development,” says Dan Culhane, President and CEO of the Ames Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Commission. “With their prior experiences they are both great fits for their new roles and I am so pleased to have them on our team.”
As Marketing Coordinator, Wengert will oversee projects including video and graphic design, support digital marketing, content development and coordinate advertising.
Wengert originates from Ames and received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University. Wengert began her position on October 21 and can be contacted at allee@ameschamber.com.
In her position as Director of Membership Development, O’Neill will coordinate Chamber membership sales and retention, member event coordination, ambassador program, and Ames Main Street investor sales and retention.
O’Neill received her Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University and has over 20 years of experience in the sales industry. O’Neill began her position on October 21 and can be contacted at KK@ameschamber.com.
