The Ames Main Street Farmers’ Market (AMSFM) kicks off its 7th season this Saturday, May 6th. The 2017 market season will run every Saturday through October 28th from 8a.m.-12:30p.m in historic downtown Ames. In October market hours will change to 9:00a.m.-12:30p.m.
The Ames Seed Capital LLC (ASCF) will review their 2016 accomplishments during their 2017 Annual Meeting with investors and guests on Tuesday, April 18th, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Scheman Building (room 220-240) in Ames. The keynote speakers for the event are Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds and Peter Wilkins, Managing Director Hyde Park Angels in Chicago.
The Ames Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Commission are pleased to welcome Brenda Dryer to the team as the Director of Workforce Solutions and Story County Community Outreach. Dryer will start in the position on April 3rd.
