(Roland, IA) – Yesterday afternoon the City of Roland celebrated Larson Well Company and the opening of their new facility in the Roland Industrial Park.
The Larson family has been drilling wells in Iowa since 1922. Larson Well Co. is now owned and operated by 4th generation well driller, Riley Larson.
“The heritage of this family has had an important impact on the Roland community,” said Mayor of Roland, Andy Webb. “And this new facility is sitting on two-acre site is the next step for this important business for the twenty-first century.”
The addition of this facility will be used to expand and continue the growth of their business.
Bruce Gauley, the President of Roland Area Economic Development says, “We are so pleased that this company has been a part of the Roland for generations has decided to invest further in our community.”
